I am a DM for a group of players called A Call to Dice. we started playing together when lock down started and i decided that it would be a good idea to share our story and adventures, for everyone to experience and enjoy. and i want to share with the DnD community a bit about the world and also where you can go to watch the videos or join in on our weekly streams. we do this purely for entertainment and the enjoyment for you to follow and join in. i also run a second campaign taking place in the same world but a couple of years earlier. called A call to dice advantage Rolls.
We play in a homebrew world that i have have created.
The Campaign is in world Gaia, a planet full of live and magic, however in the shadows lurks evil and corruption. the world of Gaia is alive the planet was Once a Goddess called Gaia, the love of the almighty God of World's, she was beautiful and free spirited however she has a hidden guilt. She was unable to bare children. This made her unhappy feeling like she was failing the God of World's. She decided to use her magical power and her life force to create the world known as GAIA. The world filled with magic created beings that lived on Gaia these where her Children and her gift. Her goddess magic flowed through the planets seas, Mountains and great forest that where created too. However as the powerful magic that flowed though Gaia created things to balance nature out evil lurked and corruption was created this Evil power grows in power wherever death and evil resides. This Corruption once strong enough creates monsters and undead that are free to roam the Land of Gaia destroying everything in their path.
Gaia didn't want her children to be danger be it from the Corruption or by the very world that she created all living things where her children. As she could no longer protect her children by herself she created the Ascended Children the Gods and Goddesses of Gaia. These beings where once ether living people that she selected to carry out a task or Celestial beings offering to help the Mother protect her. Be it to control the Seas and Oceans, the Forests, the Blizzards and ice of the North, or even to protect the citizens from the Monsters that are spawned from the corruption, to leading the Souls of the dead back to the mother to rest in peace.
These Acended Children carry out Mother Gaia's task and help her to Protect the people of Gaia.
The Three major Nations of Gaia are;
Leallatia Empire
Ruler: Emperor Gartha Balor IV
Ruling family: Balor Family
History: The Leallatia Empire Holds the Territory to the North of Amica the Emperor Gartha Balor rules the land the royal family have ruled the Empire for Thousands of years and where part of the peace agreement after the Triangular War. The Empire hold a Neutral stance on other races and all type of Races can be found in the Empire. The Countries main source of trade is Farming.
Their build style is very Medieval castles, Forts stone house with wood or thatch roof.
The Empire main force is held in the capital along with the Owl Knights the Empires elite force these Knights are able to harness the magical essence of Gaia to use in combat.
Current Diplomatic relationship between the other two Nations is currently Neutral
The Kingdom of EDOIRIN is covered in thick forests and rivers, situated on the west side of Amica. On the Kingdoms Eastern border lays the large mountain range called "The Dragons Spine". The Kingdom is ruled over by Queen Alyssa also know as the the Beautiful. Her Beauty is know all over Gaia, noone knows much about her she has ruled for Thousands of years but looks no older than a young Adult.
Most of the Kingdoms residents are Human, Aarakocra, Elf's and Dragonborn
The Kingdoms armies comprises of mainly female Warriors. The Queen's Royal Guard and elite force is all Brass Dragonborn.
The Dominion of Orca is on the eastern side of Amica. The Hot dry sandy lands cover most of East side make this one of the harshest climates on Amica, only the strong survive here the weak are left to die. Many populated with Half-Orcs, Dragonborn (Red), Lizard Folk. The Dominion of Orca is highly religious, there ruler has always been the head of the Temple that is in the capital of Orca. The highest position is the High Priest or Priestess. The Temple is for the Mother Gaia however in Orca they don't worship any of her children the only other Dieity they worship is the Rock Elemental. A huge Rock Construct that stands in the capital. Legend has it. That the it comes alive in Orcas time of need.
