While creating a gnome wizard character, which subrace is good for this character, assuming yer game master does not allow the deep gnome in his campaign?
The pole is above this post.
It's my first time i am creating a thread with a pole so i dunno where do you see the pole question so the pole question is: "What is the best gnome subrace for a wizard?"
I'd take the AC bump and minor illusion cantrip in most cases. Speaking with critters can be useful too, depending on the campaign setting

Active characters:
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
As a Wizard, you may want to take the feat Resilient (Constitution) later in your career (usually around level 12, after you’ve used 4 and 8 to bring Intelligence to 20). That will provide you +1 Constitution at level 12, so you want your Constitution to be an odd number (15) until then. The Forest Gnome provides a better stat array for you IF you’re using point buy and IF you put max points in int, Dex, and con, and IF your DM doesn’t let you use the optional rule to change starting race ability score bonuses. Starting with 16 Dex means better AC, which is more meaningful than 1 more HP per level from 16 Con.
The speaking to small creatures is also more useful (scouting) than creating toys, though the rock gnomes extra proficiency bonus to certain history checks can be nice occasionally.
As much as I like the flavor of Rock Gnomes with their tinkering ability, you can't really use it to make anything cool, and the ability to communicate with animals is both useful mechanically and also feeds well into Roleplay. Which I think, on its own, is already more useful than both of the Rock Gnome abilities, but you also get Minor Illusion for free, which is a great, versatile cantrip.

By the way I'm a titan so please don't annoy me.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.
