So this is kinda meta-gamey, but bear with me here.
I got a Manual of Iron Golems a while back, which at the time was an item you weren't allowed to actually use in Adventurer's League (AL), but the rules have since changed. So my local group thought it would be fun to help me bank up the cash and down time to actually use it. So far, we've run through Wild Beyond the Witchlight,
and I used the Wish to get 25,000 gp (one of the basic options the spell provides).
I'm level 8 now, and still need 75,000 gp, haha. Any good ideas of adventures/modules we can speed run for the coin?
the trick is to run as many games as possible online. There are a plethora of AL discord servers, and some are pretty darn active. If you limit yourself to your local AL group, it'll take a long time to amass that kind of gp. But if you play online with that same character, you should be able to at least make good progress. Of course, you'll probably want to decline leveling up after every module. But, just imagine all the downtime you'll have amassed. Think of all the magic items you'll have stored away. It's a nice idea, indeed.
Not exactly quick, but if you do 60 hours of service you can net nearly 40k gold. Remember that different activities listed as service can be done simultaneously so theoretically, if you stream a learn-to-play game for an event you organized where you DM while mentoring your new co-DM in which you create a code of conduct and use safety tools you would earn the equivalent of 23 hours of service in 4 hours, if I'm reading everything correctly. Unfortunately, this method doesn't allow you to earn any rewards twice, so you would be capped at the 40k gold and would need to figure something else out for the rest.

Thanks for helping and playing along!

I'm in agreement with the posts above where it's a quantity of games approach you should take. Spam games online and get rich.
