Very carefully. Using wish for anything other than the proscribed options is very much down to the dm. If he wants you to succeed you will. If he has set up a story arc where you find where Yoah is captured and go in and rescue him he is likely to find a way that it fails.
If Yoah is held on a different plane you are essentially needing to cast the gate spell which is a 9th level spell and therefore out of the direct scope of wish
Talk to the ghost first. Yoah should be able to offer you advice. An imprisoning device may need to be broken first at that may use up the wish.
As a general rule never use the word "and" in a wish. Smart DM's cut you off there and ignore everything after that word, saying it counts as a second wish.

So I am playing a wizard who recently got access to the wish spell and I was hoping to save the ghost named Yoah who is captured by spirit naaga.
I want to save her but Im unsure of how best to word the wish.
Any help is appreciated.
