I'm currently playing a campaign as a Circle of Spores Druid.
Would it be possible to use the Fungal Investation to invade an enemy zombie and turn it under my control?
Since its not a charming spell and a zombie is just a dead body, I assume the spores would just invade its mind and turn it under command even if its an enemy?
In D&D, a Zombie is not merely a dead body, it is a unique creature. If you cast Revivify on a dead Zombie, it returns as the same Zombie.
e.g.
A "Human" is a Dell laptop with Windows OS installed from the factory.
A "Zombie" is the same Dell laptop reprogrammed to run a Linux OS by someone who thought it was a cool idea, but doesn't really know what they're doing.
Technically, both are equally valid, but the latter isn't going to do much without input from an adept user.

Not RAW, but you could try persuading your DM to allow it.
"If a beast or a humanoid that is Small or Medium dies within 10 feet of you, you can use your reaction to animate it"
