I think that Changelings might have an innate connection to the moon, which, with its ever-shifting phases, is often meant to symbolize transformation and change. Selune herself manifests in a variety of appearances, not having one single "true" form.
Well, the Shadar Kai are basically built for it. They're fey-elves that got stuck in the shadow realm. That's about as twilight fey theme as it gets.

It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.
