Through an extremely lucky draw from a (modified) Deck of Many Things, my 10th level stars druid has been granted a magical item of my choosing.
It can be any rarity, however, it must be a wondrous item. So weapons, armor, rings, all that jazz is off the table. Homebrew is fine too, but regardless my DM has to okay whatever I pick.
For what it's worth - my playstyle is generally to CC and a bit of blasting from the backlines. I'm kinda stumped. Cloak of Displacement is what I currently have my eye on.
Which item is best is dependent on your other features, such as your race, AC, etc.
The Cloak of Displacement is especially good if you have a particularly high AC.
The Cloak of Invisibility is great to prevent a lot of attacks from being able to target you at all when activated.
The fully upgraded Stormgirdle has a bunch of great abilities that stack, both constant effects and ones that can be activated for a minute per day.
If you can't already fly, the Ascendant Scaled Ornament gives you a flying speed, and a bunch of other bonuses, including a buff to AC and immunity to charm and fear.
The Talisman of Pure Good is amazing if your character is of Good alignment. It gives you a +2 to your spell attack rolls, and if you touch an evil enemy with it, they take 8d6 radiant damage, which will probably be more than you could deal by hitting with a weapon.
An Exalted Wreath of the Prism gives you a really powerful Dominate Monster, which could be really valuable to turn the tables of a combat.
Staff of woodlands, Tome Of Understanding, and Baba Yaga's mortar and pestle are probably my top 3 for druids. Dragon Scale Mail and moon sickle are good too! Belt of dwarvenkind (depends on how you are setup, he +2 CON and other stuff may be worth growing a beard, but amulet of health could be another option), mantle of spell resistance, Cauldron Of Rebirth, Animated Shield frees up your shield hand but also works while you are in wild shape. Pearl of power, especially if circle of land. Periapt of Wound Closure, Hide Of The Feral Guardian. Dragon-touched focus - stirring. Ring of three wishes.
The Ruby Weave Gem definitely caught my eye. Ignoring up to 500gp of consumed means being able to cast Revivify or Raise Dead without having to buy the necessary diamonds ahead of time. The part about learning a spell from any class' list is intriguing, but it doesn't say that you can use your regular spellcasting ability. So if a Druid were to take Fireball from the Wizard list, would they have to use Int as their casting stat, or can they use Wisdom?

I get the feeling that you're intended to treat it as a spell known by your primary class, but whoever wrote the item out forgot to include that detail... or any explanation for how to calculate the spell. I think it's an odd case because other items I can think of that allow the user to essentially learn the new spell instead of just casting through the magic item tend to be class-specific. So it's easier to add in some form of, "This is a _________-class spell for you", rather than either stating that you treat it as a class-specific spell or if it's just a spell known that you choose the modifier for.

Hello everyone,
Through an extremely lucky draw from a (modified) Deck of Many Things, my 10th level stars druid has been granted a magical item of my choosing.
It can be any rarity, however, it must be a wondrous item. So weapons, armor, rings, all that jazz is off the table. Homebrew is fine too, but regardless my DM has to okay whatever I pick.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Ruby weave gem seems really cool!
