I have made a hexwarlock who has devil sight and can see out of the darkness spell when i use my hand crossbow and fire at an enemy outside of the darkness spell would that attack be at advantage or straight roll and or can anyone post a link to offical ruling on this
You're completely hidden from your target, which is a condition for advantage. So as long as you don't have any of the conditions for disadvantage, you are indeed attacking at advantage.
The rules for advantage and disadvantage are in the Player's Handbook, on page 173.
Also note that while Darkness is a potent spell, it is notorious for interfering with other members of the party. With a 15ft radius sphere, it can easily overlap or block line of sight for other players.
As long as you have enough room to play safely, enjoy it!
