I’m very new to D&D. Is there anything advice you could give me? I’ve already made two characters but haven’t joined anything yet. Are there places i could go to “play” and learn?
For in person, if you have a game store in your area, start there. They may have game nights, and there may be people who post lfg (looking for group) messages. Otherwise, the internet has sites like that which will vary depending on where you live.
Another good idea is to check out local bars near colleges. They will often have a board game night, usually including DnD. That's how I found my group!

depend from your locations sometimes there is gamestores nearby (but it's not always possible) for digital there is many website and groups where you can recruit/get recruited in campaign eg https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/looking-for-players-groups or https://www.reddit.com/r/lfg/, various discords etc
