I have a Hexblade warlock with 19 charisma and Elven accuracy, since Advantage isnt super hard to get and i have Shadow of Moil i was considering GWM. But i also have the option to round up that 19 with Fey touched that grants me one free use of misty step (i like free spells because of how few slots i have as a Warlock) plus another spell, making me more versatile.
Im not an experienced player so i ask you if the better damage from GWM (considering my access to Elven accuracy Advantage) would feel noticeable enough to take insted of Fey Touched (getting to 20 cha)?
Also i know Silvery barbs is great as the second spell but i dont like it, i wont take it, so dont take that into account, probably command would be my pick.
GWM is a good idea I think. Assuming you're using a weapon that benefits from it.
For your spells, prefer concentration spells that you can keep up the entire fight. Low level spells that burn slots quickly aren't recommended, especially if there's no benefit to upcasting them.
Personally, I really like Summon Fey. It works wonders with Devil's Sight.
Also, if you want a good half attribute feat for your charisma, consider war caster, especially if you use concentration spells often.

Ty for the reply!. I wasn't aware that you could use war caster for charisma, i though it was constitution only. Its a good option, its probably way more useful that fey touched but i would still choose FT if i where to pick something to round up to 20 because it seams fun and is thematic for my character.
My question is if having +10 dmg with a -5 penalty from GWM (considering elven accuracy compensating for some of that) feels better than the +1 to dmg, +1 to hit, +1 save DC for my spells, and 2 free (fairly useful) spells per day.
War Caster's saving throw benefit only works with Constitution saving throws. I think what Natrel was referring to was that the 2024 version of it offers an ability score increase of +1 to Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma (your choice). The 2014 version does not.

Ty!, i wasn't aware, i don't think the dm would have a problem with me asking for either version but no matter how powerful, i dont think I'll pick War Caster for this level. My issue is that i dont have experience with GWM (its my first campaign ever) so its hard for me to predict how detrimental is the -5 to hit for the +10 dmg with the added factors of having a better version of advantage when advantage is available. Plus weighing all that against the benefits of rounding up my main score to hit, dmg, spell save dc and free spells.
If the difference in "in-practice" damage in favor of GWM isn't that high (taking into account not having advantage from time to time and/or missing anyways thanks to the -5) i wouldn't mind doing a bit less dmg in favor of the coolness factor of Fey Touched.
I hope im making myself clear and also sounding polite, English isnt my first language.
Great Weapon Master - It's a feat. The 2014 version gave you the ability to take a -5 to hit for +10 to damage, and let you use a bonus action to make an extra attack after killing an enemy or dealing a critical hit. The 2024 version got rid of the -5/+10 mechanic and simply lets you add your proficiency bonus to your damage rolls with Heavy weapons. It also now gives +1 Strength (all general feats give a +1 to an ability score under 2024 rules).

Yes, if you consistently have Adv then GWM is better than +1

Ty, i think is often enough plus i have just realized that the benefit from extra attack on crits is really great because of the crits on 19 from Hexblade's curse with elven accuracy
