Could be a flavour and mechanical win.
Earth Genasi for Blade Ward BA. Efreeti for good damage spells, devils sight darkness combo. Agonising Blast on eldritch blast. Booming blade.
UA Oath of Genie. Nice spells, smite. Pact of the Blade to dump STR.
Also it all fits thematically.

Is this using the 2014 or 2024 rules? Because I've played a genasi genielock under the former and it was okay but nothing spectacular.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
