Ok just a bit of my character history, I've played as;
(These have been in separate campaigns)
Deadpool (Gunslingser 6) died
Blitzø (Helluva Boss) (Bard 3/ Gunslinger 3) died
Raphael (TMNT) (Monk 3/ Barbarian 3) died
Prince Zuko (ATLAB) (Monk 6) died
Now I will switch and make original characters, but now I'm using my one of my OCs and this is going to be my backup for when the inevitable happens XD.
I plan to play as;
Tomura Shigaraki (MHA)
I'm thinking going 3 levels into Monk to pick up subclass: Way Of The Long Death to give me the close range melee and necrotic damage (decay) plus the maneuverability.
And then picking up 3 levels as Warlock to pick up the subclass: The Undead Patron (All For One) then only picking necrotic damage spells maybe find familiar to give me touch range spells and since I'll be in melee I can flavor it as my character touch.
So that is my idea if you guys can think of any improvements let me know
Are you looking for 2024 or 2014 creation rules? It sounds like 2024 to get a subclass at 3rd level, but I do not recognize those subclasses so are they 2014 subclasses?
Right now I am making a Feral Tiefling Monk that also a patron of Way of the Long Death. Depending on what Species you plan as playing as can change the way that your Monk will pan out.
If you plan on using a large species I would try using either a Goliath or to add some humor maybe a Giff.
If you use a medium size one I would go with a Tiefling, or maybe an Aarococren?
To stir complete chaos into the game use a Kinder, Dragonlace book, and be a small quick adept thief that has no regard for personal property.

Yes they are 2014 subclasses but they haven't been updated yet so they are officially still usable in 2024 rules
I suggest you stop playing monks and gunslingers, it seems to be getting you killed, lol.
But any class is viable in 5e, play what seems fun.
