I read a story that someone had a bag of holding and they had a wizard burn all its spell slots using fireball and launching them into the bag then when facing the BBEG, flipping the bag inside out and launching them all at one time.
1) is this legal as far as RAW
2) How many fireballs can a BoH contain before running out of space. (I cant find any data how big they are)
3) and for fun, could you cast enlarge on the inside of the bag to increase its capacity
A single fireball shot directly into a bag of holding would destroy it. A fireball's total affected area is like 33493 cubic feet. A bag of holding has a capacity of 64 cubic feet.
1) In RAW the bag doesn't stop time for things put into it. So it mean a person could survive for about 10 minutes max, and food will rot if left for a long time. This story comes just from a homebrew interpretation of the bag's mechanics.
2) You can cast as many fireballs inside it as you want, but they are just gonna casually explode as they usually do.
3) You can cast it on an "Object or a creature". Inside of the bag isn't an individual object. But anyway it wouldn't increase its capacity, because the bag itself is just a demiplane that can contain 500 pounds.

Assuming that the fireballs didn't explode or destroy the bag of holding, I'm assuming that the oxygen needed to continue feeding the fire would burn up quickly, particularly as you add more fireballs. If we treat each instance as a creature, the 10 minutes divided by number of creatures clause would quickly become close to zero time (1 minute with 10 castings minus the weighted time for each casting to get in there).
TLDR- there are many issues with this scenario that require a lenient DM leaning heavily into Rule of (un)Cool to even let this work to the point that they would all fall out at your feet for you to go out in a blaze of glory let alone turned into a BBEG seeking Fireball bombardment.

As for your third question, no.
