I thought about making a character a little "out of the box". Of course it's not an original idea, I thought it would be fun to play something like this with friends. The idea is a character totally inspired by Snow White or Giselle from Enchanted. From the personality, to the skill is to use singing to avoid combat, recruit hordes of animals, etc. Two examples I can give is a scene in Shrek the Third where Snow White deals with castle guards calling out a horde of birds, squirrels and other forest creatures or the scene where Giselle cleans the house with the help of the town's animals. . At this point, I need you. Is just Druid enough for this or is Bard needed in the build? What spells or subclasses do you recommend? Could you give me a north?
To summarize his good work, the creation bard's 3rd level bard ability to basically cast the 5th level spell Creation spell using a 2nd level spell slot and the 6th level bard ability to make a dancing carpet (i.e. flying carpet) using a 3rd level slot that does NOT require concentration are very powerful.
Also, not that the 3rd level ability lets you create poison as well, so maybe learn a trick or two from an evil stepmother....
I think you can build this character mostly through Druid, although this Creation Bard concept is pretty interesting... I think the problem with it for this function is that it's got so many features that involve animating objects, as opposed to commanding beasts.
The obvious direction to go is Circle of the Shepherd Druid. This is the subclass most built for managing conjured creatures, and it also unlocks a feature that allows you communicate with animals regardless of race (otherwise you would have to play as a Firbolg or Forest Gnome). It's actually even better than the races that have built-in communication skills, since Shepherd Druids can actually understand beasts without needing to cast any spells.
For this particular character concept I would also recommend the optional "Wild Companion" feature... it allows you to use your Wild Shape feature to cast Find Familiar instead, giving you a friendly animal ally you can call upon at any moment, and giving you something to do with your Wild Shape feature, since turning into an animal doesn't fully line up with this concept.
From there it's mostly a matter of selecting spells that feed into this concept... things like Animal Friendship, Beast Bond, Conjure Animals, etc.
I think to cover that Persuasive Performer angle, rather than multiclass into Bard, I actually think there's more value in multiclassing 3 levels into Ranger to get the Fey Wanderer subclass. This unlocks a feature where you can add your Wisdom modifier to any Charisma check you make, and also lets you take proficiency with Performance, which is generally what's used to represent singing. This way you don't have to go MAD with your ability scores, since you can keep your focus squarely on Wisdom and still function as though you have a high Charisma stat.
Good morning friends!
Once again I'm here to absorb knowledge from you.

Thank you all for the attention!
Treantmonk made a nice video about how powerful his "Disney Princess" Creation Bard is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi6E5JaGmzM
I want to play it so bad.
