Now, I don't want to explain the context of me receiving this wish. Plane to say, tricked a devil into letting me have one and later became his best man. Not going into details beyond that, least to say, me in him have good relation at the time of making the wish.
What I want, is a selfish wish, something that only I award from, that has little to do with backstory. I just want, a power. Something not on a regular character sheet. I just want like, a bizarre power or some other thing. Just, shoot ideas, don't think too hard, just think... Fun. Think fun. Fun Powers. Fun wish.
It must be somewhat reasonable, and I kinda want to stay in the game so no Pun-Pun style powers. Can range from mild to, broken depending on use. Hope for some answers, thanks folks.
You can get inspiration from feats and different class abilities. Maybe the ability to cast a low level spell at will or a high level spell once a day? Or the ability to regenerate 1 HP per round?
If you want to break the game, wish for a spirit troll's Regeneration, a star spawn hulk's Psychic Mirror, and a helmed horror's damage immunities. The only way to kill you would be with "can't regain hit points" effects like chill touch (which won't do any damage) or instant-death effects like power word kill. Since you don't, though, maybe just wish for Regeneration or a 120' flying speed or the ability to use some monster's lair actions without a lair. Or to be constantly under the effects of one of the investiture spells.

Maybe the eternal servitude of an Imp (familiar variant). Gain magic resistance, see in magical darkness, and an invisible helper. When it does, it reforms in hell and makes its way back to you (maybe include a way to just summon it to you in the wish).
That’s not accurate. You can use Wish the same way you could in earlier editions too. There is however a cost involved and a chance that you’ll never be able to cast it again. When you have a wish granted to you, the cost is worth paying and the risk of never being able to cast Wish again probably doesn’t matter either.

Beyond the effects that are explicitly stated, the rules give complete latitude to the DM, so what you can actually do with a wish can vary significantly. So really, the OP needs to consult with his DM. (I would be interested in finding out how AL handles Wishes)
But you're right, the cost/benefit of a granted wish is different than casting the spell.

In earlier editions (1E and 2E), you could literally wish for anything, except another character's death.
In 5E, you can only use wish to reproduce other spells without having to worry about material components or class restrictions. Almost not worth it...

Wish for the ability to transform into a storm giant, silver dragon, or tarrasque (and back again) with a bonus action.
That's what I'll wish for if I ever get access to a wish.
