I want to use Tolkien's Sindarin, the language of the elves that remained in Middle Earth, for Elvish, and Quenya, the language of the elves that journeyed to the Undying Lands, for Sylvan.
Well hey, there's online translator apps for both of those, so it's probably a better idea than using Lorum Ipsum if you're going to create written materials in elvish that aren't in English!
Sounds like a good idea, I actually found this thread because I was looking to see if anyone else does this. I suck at making names so I usually go for Quenya/Sindarin or other fantasy languages, choose a word that fits my character and edit it a bit to make it sound more like a name.

Is this like using Scottish for dwarves, Russian for gnomes, Gaelic for elves, Arabic for Dragonborn, Italian for Undercommon, etc etc?
like actually speaking in it?

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.
Ok. Good idea.
...Is there a specific type of response you are expecting?
