I am looking if anyone knows if there is a way to help with a percentage roll in the game? I have been aged by a ghost. Need to get it fixed WELL after the 24 hour Greater Restoration fix... Wish is too expensive and far away to obtain. I found out in game about the Potion of Longevity... can reduce your age by 1d6+6, BUT there is a 10% chance it ages you those years instead...
Does anyone know of any spells, or rituals, or anything that would help me get that 10% roll in my favor? Either a re-roll, or something that adds to a percentage roll? Thanks, in advance.
When you drink this potion, your physical age is reduced by 1d6 + 6 years, to a minimum of 13 years. Each time you subsequently drink a potion of longevity, there is 10 percent cumulative chance that you instead age by 1d6 + 6 years. Suspended in this amber liquid are a scorpion's tail, an adder's fang, a dead spider, and a tiny heart that, against all reason, is still beating. These ingredients vanish when the potion is opened.
this seems to mean that the first time you drink it there is NO chance you will age. then on your 2nd it has a 10% chance, 3rd has a 20% chance..... so on and so forth.

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
You could also hit up the local wizard college and see if they have a Transmutation Master. ( see the last item).
Master Transmuter
Starting at 14th level, you can use your action to consume the reserve of transmutation magic stored within your transmuter’s stone in a single burst. When you do so, choose one of the following effects. Your transmuter’s stone is destroyed and can’t be remade until you finish a long rest.
Major Transformation. You can transmute one nonmagical object—no larger than a 5-foot cube—into another nonmagical object of similar size and mass and of equal or lesser value. You must spend 10 minutes handling the object to transform it.
Panacea. You remove all curses, diseases, and poisons affecting a creature that you touch with the transmuter’s stone. The creature also regains all its hit points.
Restore Life. You cast the raise dead spell on a creature you touch with the transmuter’s stone, without expending a spell slot or needing to have the spell in your spellbook.
Restore Youth. You touch the transmuter’s stone to a willing creature, and that creature’s apparent age is reduced by 3d10 years, to a minimum of 13 years. This effect doesn’t extend the creature’s lifespan.
that is awesome ... didn't know that one! If our DMs homebrew world was VERY restrictive on magic unless part of "The Imperium" who happen to not support non-humans often... and being a Tabaxi, hmhmmm... not likely for me, but at least its an option... and we are not even level 6 atm, so some time til we get near that level (without DM intervention). But good to know.

or am I reading the item wrong and you only have to roll the 10% after the first potion? IE, if you try to drink multiple?
Thanks again,
~Mad
ask your dm if he will let you use inspiration or the lucky feat to roll twice. if he won't maybe try and find a clergy that will help?
also a 10 percent chance is very low you could probably just risk it

Just roll a d10. On a (1 or 2 or any single number) then you age. Simple.

If you are rolling a d10, it would only be on a 1. That is 10%, on a 1 or 2 would be 20%. no thanks for the additional chances for aging! lol
What I meant was just choose 1 random number on the d10, then if you roll that then you age. Sorry if it wasn't as clear.

I am pretty sure he wants help with NOT aging.......... but there really is no way to influence a d100 roll. so just risk it. 10% is not a big chance

just googled this magic item

That is what I was thinking, but not sure what the DM will think....
I hope he reads it that way too.. :D
Thanks all
