I remember hearing somewhere that the plan for one D&D is to have the option of small updates rolling out for the various manuals.
Does anyone know if our currently purchased D&D beyond manuals will be updated or will we have to buy OneD&D versions of the manuals before we're eligible for those updates?
I've got quite a few books in print and have been hesitating on the online versions.
Yeah, I wonder how D&D Beyond would function with a bunch of old books.
Will the Character sheets no longer access the old information?
I imagine Wizards is figuring that out now.
Most likely Dndbeyond would have to roll out a new character sheet to handle One DND so all old material will count as legacy and work for the legacy character sheets. The one dnd format is different enough to cause them to have to create a separate sheet. I’m betting during character creation it will ask if it’s fro one or legacy.

I would not bet on it for "old 5e" content and books.
Darn!

Under character creation there can be a 5E button or a 1DD button that will enable/disable edition/specific flagged features.
