I believe the only information we had was from the creators summit where the said something like 'in a few weeks' so a lot of people assumed it would be now but for all we know it was always planned for next week.
If it drops on Thursday, it could be interesting since Kobold will drop their next playtest on next Friday. Maybe KP won't take the wind out of the UA sails though, since I think the next KP playtest focuses on monsters.

I read all the Black Flag packets. D&D is doing fine.
I'm a little concerned about what the Mage classes will look like, but man the new Fighter sounds like it's going to be a LOT of fun, and I already enjoyed playing Fighters.
ONLY 5 CLASSES IN THE NEXT UA. What will be left out? Monk? They only say the Fighter and Barbarian access the Weapon Mastery properties, with monk later on. So will the monk be it's own UA or part of another big UA?
So we know Fighter and Barbarian are in this one. So out of Wizard, Sorcerer, Warlock, and Monk which do you think will be left out. I'm thinking Monk or they would have been part of the weapon mastery discussion in the video

He said there will be 5 classes in this UA, But never said it are classes we have not seen before.
My guess is that the the Barbarian and fighter will be the only new classes the other 3 will be revisions of classes we seen before to show what they are reacting to feedback.
I thought the next UA for the arcane and martial classes was supposed to drop today (4/20/23) - did they delay it?

Sometime before the end of the month is the best we can tell. I'm hoping for Monday.
Each previous 1D&D UA has been released on a Thursday, so I’m (very tentatively) expecting the 27th.
I went back to check this and you seem to be right, it's too regular a pattern to be coincidence.
Character Origins: Thursday 8/18/22
Expert Classes: Thursday 9/29/22
Cleric and Species: Thursday 12/1/22
Paladin/Druid: Thursday 2/23/22
So yeah, looks like Thursdays are the official UA days.
Thanks, all. For some reason, I just assumed the new one would drop on the same day the survey for the previous one closed.
1D&D seems to be Thursday’s child: it has far to go.
If it drops on Thursday, it could be interesting since Kobold will drop their next playtest on next Friday. Maybe KP won't take the wind out of the UA sails though, since I think the next KP playtest focuses on monsters.

my guess is barbarian, fighter, warlock, sorcerer and wizard. its possible rogue, cleric and druid maybe the other 3 but i doubt it
I will be sad if Monk is not in this UA, been waiting to see how it future fare.
I guess they could do updated previous UA classes but I hope not, at least yet

Yeah, I'm assuming it's barbarian, fighter, sorcerer, warlock, and wizard.
I actually think it might be barbarian, fighter, monk, warlock, - and either sorcerer or wizard will be the one left out.
Maybe Wizard as that will be a big change from spell book caster to prepared caster like a cleric.

I bet the monk is getting held up trying to make it satisfy Twitter.
