I actually put Kind first, but I don't really like it either. I've seen most people default to "Ancestry" when avoiding race and I don't really understand why that wasn't an option. I understand that the term "Ancestry" is already used in a number of features (like "Fey Ancestry" or "Giant Ancestry"), but since One DnD is a full reboot this is the perfect opportunity to just swap it to consistently mean something else.
Go let your thoughts be known! Includes a ranked choice about the replacement for the term "race."
Canto alla vita
alla sua bellezza
ad ogni sua ferita
ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
I put Species first, then Type and Kind. I really don't like Type and Kind at all though.
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
