So the following text is directly from the Blind Fighting UA Fighting Style:
Being unable to see a creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your attack rolls against it, provided the creature isn’t hidden from you
No imposing disadvantage against attack rolls is great but it doesn't explain how I'm suppose to actually find my foes if I'm unable to see them.
If I'm in 30-ft radius Magical Darkness and I can't see my foes through it, how do I even get into melee range with them? They could be anywhere in that Magical Darkness, which I can't see through. Do we just leave it to DM fiat?
Has this been explained since the Class Feature Variants UA release?
As long as someone isn't hidden everyone else knows about their position, even if they're invisible. So als long as your foes don't hide you know exactly where they are.
It isn't here yet that was part of the Class Features UA which wasn't added due to complexity issues so was scrapped by DDB so they can do it just for real when the book comes out.
If we give Blind Fighting to a creature with Sunlight Sensitivity (ie Drow), does that give them an easier time against their enemies as long as they don't feel the sun?
