Predatory Strikes. Your unarmed strikes are considered a single weapon in regards to your crimson rite feature. You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolIs of your unarmed strikes. When you use the Attack action with an unarmed strike, you can make another unarmed strike as a bonus action.
So this is not like dual wielding - both attacks use the full damage bonus from strength / dex and no benefit to AC from Dual Wielder feat.....All Attacks will do Crimson rite damage......
Correct, the Lycan claws are not dual wielding and do not benefit from the Dual Wielder feat.
Also, they do not prevent the use of a shield in one hand and a claw in the other. Still allowing Claw Attacks and the Claw Bonus Attack while maintaining the shield AC.
It's a strange mental image to imagine, but there is nothing in any part of the Lycan rules that stops you, unlike Monk which has verbage specifically designed to prevent the use of shields.
