Hi! Just a quick question that has come up for me, I was wondering if the Path of Beast's form of the Beast worked with the Monk's martial arts feature that allows for a bonus unarmed attack, Would it be another attack with the Form of Beast raging feature, just an unarmed attack, etc etc? I was also wondering about natural weapons like Talons and Claws, but that's not really related to the UA
Natural weapons like talons and claws are usually worded as unarmed attack replacements (if I remember correctly), which means you can either use them OR the monk's unarmed combat dice.
I'm honestly not certain how Path of the Beast claws feature into it; the subclass's rage weapons are worded as "natural melee weapons," which I guess could count as unarmed weapons? Your DM might also interpret them as simple melee weapons, which would mean they count as Monk weapons for the purposes of Flurry/bonus action attack. (This latter option is PROBABLY better for you, because once you hit Monk level 11 your unarmed strike dice become 1d8 instead, and you can choose to replace Monk weapon damage with that as well.)
If Beast rage weapons are counted as unarmed strikes, you could also choose to go with Bite or Tail attacks... which would be kinda nutty, hence why I think they're Monk weapons at best. Otherwise you'd be able to Flurry for 3d12 reach damage.
They arent stated as unarmed strikes. But at lvl 5 you could take the Attack action, attack with claws (2x) and attack with unarmed strikes and thus proccing the Flurry of Blows.
So with a Ki point you could possibly do 5 attacks at lvl 5 when spending a Ki point. But you cant use the Beast attacks for monk powers.
