For the Bottled Respite feature it states that you are forced to leave if you die and I'm just wondering what are the cases where the warlock is dying in their vessel?
If you are suffering a damage over time effect from a spell or poison or another similar effect. For example you got hit by a Searing Smite and barely survived, you use Bottled Respite during your turn. Next turn you fail the Searing Smite saving throw and the 1d6 fire damage drops you to 0 hp. You fail 3 death saves and out you pop lol.
