I took it, and its set in stone. Game night came up and I didn't use it. I blanked out. Just a single word, command. Maybe a list of common useful commands.
You mean you took Fey Touched and then took Command with it? In that case, the spell itself does list some options for what you can do with it, but really, anything can be good. Just envision what you want to do and then find the shortest route to that space. I think Halt and Grovel both have incredibly useful applications.
There is some niche commands that can pretty much make command emulate other spells for a round I like very much. "Land!" gives you a turn where that pesky flyer stays with you on the ground, "Dissenchant" could make a charming enemy stop enchanting that damn Barbarian and with "Jump!" one could make an argument that an enemy in a high position wouldn't be harmed DIRECTLY by the jump, but by the result - hitting the floor(but thats up to the dm).
Release - to end a grapple Exhale/Inhale - to make people suffocate under water, or in a poisonous cloud of fumes Bark/Sing - might be funny, might interfere with verbal components of a ritual or spell (DM's choice IMHO, perhaps @ disadvantage) Raise Hand - to single out a involuntary volunteer or to cause trouble at an auction Agree/Disagree - to swing a vote
Of course it works best with a sorcerers subtle spell.
A fun one is Genuflect, which is basically the same as Kneel but more likely to confuse the DM. Or, if you want to do something about an enemy about to do attack you, might I suggest...

How have you used it?
Look at the description of the spell command. It has exactly what you're asking for (a list of sample commands). The grovel command will do well in almost any combat encounter. Halt or Approach is helpful during a chase.

Reconsider?
I've always liked fumble and surrender.
