My current character has a pact with a dracolich. Are there any benefits that I could be missing with having a dracolich as a patron? I mean, outside of the sourcebook attributes, could I be using anything or requesting my character get because of this pact? Not sure how common dracolich patrons are but I thought it made for a better backstory because my character is a dragonborn warlock.
I’m not entirely clear on the question. A dracolich as a patron doesn’t exist, per se. You, with DM approval, could use it as the patron as flavor. For example, an undead patron warlock, with the dracolich being the specific undead. Or you could try and homebrew a whole new subclass for a dracolich.
Or maybe something else entirely I’m not thinking of right now
Short answer; you don't get anything *extra* based on a specific patron. I'd take Xalthu's suggestion and flavor an Undead patron warlock with dracolich as the source of the warlock's power. Go with pact of the chain and take a pseudo-dragon as your familiar; flavored to be an undead looking variety.
Thanks again for the input...by coincidence, the pact and familiar is what I was going with currently anyway. I just thought there may be other attributes I may not have thought of that could benefit me. All the suggestions help greatly! Thank you!
I guess I have never completely thought of it in this manner. All said, I am going to try to find ways I can evoke that interaction if my DM allows it. Thanks for your reply!
Correction: I chose the Undying path, with Pact of the Tome. Just wanted to be clear but I have Find Familiar at my disposal in my list, for the pseudodragon anyway.

Tome doesn’t allow a pseudodragon. You have to go chain for that. Tome, with the right invocation, allows you to cast find familiar, but you only get the standard issue familiars. Allowing a tomelock to have a pseudodragon is practically giving them 2 pact boons simultaneously.
OK that is good info because I must have misinterpreted the PHB incorrectly when it gave the option to Find Familiar as something other that the standard issue. I appreciate the clarification very much.
I have decided to switch to PotC, with my DM's permission. The pseudoragon ability was something I was looking forward to, and PotC offers that a little easier overall. I appreciate the follow-up!
Just think about the thematic fun of delivering Vampiric Touch via the pseudodragon! I'd go all in with the draconic\undead invocations and spells as well. There may be more optimized warlock builds, but you can easily get what you want from a dracolich patron by going this route.

Which of those are you going for?
