I have been working on a Fighter/Celestial Warlock for some time now. My trick is to use Searing Vengeance and Boon of Recovery to keep coming back with half health, so my epic boon boost up to 30 is in Constitution instead of Charisma. I was thinking though, rather than have an idd number of 21 Constitution, why not take a half feat instead of an ASI at some point?
The only problem is there aren’t many good feats (in my opinion) that boost Constitution by +1. Most of them are locked behind species (which I’m not interested in changing), I already get temporary Hp for myself and allies and thus don’t need Chef, Skilled isn’t really that good apparently, and Dragonmark is too complicated to me. Then it hit me… with a bludgeoning weapon.
What if I went Crusher? I’m already pact of the blade, so I could make whatever my pact weapon and I’m already a base fighter anyway. Is this a decent strategy? Right now my main weapon is a Rapier for the Vex proficiency, but I could always switch to a different one later or start out with a different one gold-wise.
If so, what would be a good bludgeoning weapon to use with a shield? For the use of this example build, I’m choosing the Warhammer.
A genie (dao) warlock can add bludgeoning damage to one attack/round. I know you said celestial, I’m just putting that out there.
But also, what’s complicated about aberrant dragonmark? A cantrip and an extra 1st level spell per day. Take something like shield which stays valuable pretty much always. The other powers that come with it all say “you can” since they’re optional, you can always choose to not use them.

I guess that’s true, but I already have limited soell slots as it is! Still, I guess I shouldn’t have said complicated persay.
Questioning if I am a little blind on this one, I see you have lessons of the first ones and I see Tough but thinking I should be see 2 origin feats instead of 1? 1 Background and 1 Lessons of the First Ones.
Durable is also a fit for a feat, since this seems to be a character all about death saves but alternatively, if you can get Shillelagh with Charisma, you could instead use a club or quarterstaff to get a bigger die. Just costs 1 bonus action per encounter, as the cost. For quarterstaff, a number of staffs can be used as a quarterstaff, some with +1/+2/+3 bonuses, it opens up a few options.

I was going to say warhammer.
Good minds think alike i suppose.

i mean, is shield worth a level 5 spell slot?
You cast it through the mark at level 1, not with a pact slot. It’s one more spell per short rest. And it’s not normally on the warlock list.
