This seems like it would be a good fit for a warlock to add a little versatility to your spellcasting without multi classing. Anyone ever tried this feat? Got any good suggestions?
My character meets the minimum requirements for both wisdom and charisma casters. As a warlock I don’t really need any more attacks spells...Maybe some utility or survivability type spells. The cleric or Druid spell list seems to have some good options like guidance, absorb elements, shield of faith or protection from evil and good.
It only gives you 2 cantrips and 1 1st level spell. I’d suggest Pact of the Tome instead since that let’s you pick cantrips from any class and use your ASI/feat for increasing your charisma to 20.
But that’s my opinion. If it’s fun for you, go for it!
Gasp! My nasty little imp shakes his fist at you. I’m playing a Pact of the Chain-lock. At level 4 and 8, I took the Lucky Feat and +2 ASI to get my Charsima to 20. At level 12 I’m either going to grab Resilient CON or Magic Initiate...just weighing some options. The more magic the better!
Unless its utility your after you wont find much that compares favourably with eldritch blast potential in cantrips. If you do want to go the route of extra cantrips consider spell sniper first, you get one cantrip but it cancels out the firing into melee penalty problems and doubles your th spells ranges (240' EB. 600' with spear - MI is not worth it)
Otherwise Ritual caster maybe better for you (as you dont have the tome invo option) detect magic and identify are great if you choose wizard rituals and there are some crackers at higher levels that will supplement your skills nicely out of combat. (short rest? gimme 11 minutes and we can have the hut up and relax!)
I'm curious how would you rule this at your table lvl 9 Warlock with MI warlock feat. the feat says the spell is cast at its lowest level but at lvl 9 that is 5th lvl. I looked at the other feats that give spells they specify "without using a spell slot" Would you rule that the Warlock at lvl 9 has three 5th lvl slots, (2 short rest and 1 long), or two 5th lvl and one 1st lvl? Granted the MI slot would have to be used in the spell choosen for MI so lets say Hellish Rebuke as it can scale.
It's cast at the lowest level it can be cast, not the lowest level of spell slot the user has.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

MC sorcerer for more cantrips
Or Bard for more spells
Or cleric if you can meet the requirements
