I made a Hexblade Warlock and on my character sheet spell list it shows cantrips, 1st level, and 3rd level spells even though I chose 2nd level spells. Anyone know why this is happening?
Remember that all warlock pact slots scale to your highest spellcasting level capping out at 5th level spells. So while you may know 2nd level spells, it sounds like you have 3rd level spell slots so those 2nd level spells are being automatically scaled.
Warlocks don't have spell slots like other casters. They have a small number of slots, that cast at the highest level they're capable of. (Along with a few fixed spells provided by their invocations, which typically cast at their native level.)

Does that mean that you lose your 2nd spell slots?
