Sorry if this thread already exists. I'm wondering how people have negotiated designating a Pact Weapon for the system to recognize? Or getting the system to acknowledge the additional proficiencies Hexblade provides?
In your inventory, your eligible weapons will have checkboxes to designate them as your Pact Weapon and/or Hex Weapon. If you want to have your Hexblade use a conjured weapon instead of bonding to an existing weapon, just add a copy of the standard weapon you conjure to your Inventory, then check the Pact Weapon box. The D&D Beyond sheet will adjust the attack & damage rolls to use Cha instead of Str/Dex, and will even add the +1 if you have the Improved Pact Weapon invocation. Yes, if you intend to switch your Pact Weapon's form regularly you'll have to either swap it in and out of your Inventory, or just add multiple weapons and check the box for the one in active use. If you want to keep them straight in your Inventory list, you can renamed them to things like "Pact Longsword", "Pact Warhammer" etc.
The other problem I seem to be having is that, for some reason, my sheet isn't recognizing the Hexblade's proficiency with Martial Weapons? I think? It's definitely not adding my proficiency bonus to my attack rolls with my pact longsword.
Something I'm missing? If this is standard can you recommend a work around? Thanks again in advance!

Can you post a link to your character sheet?

Hello!
Sorry if this thread already exists. I'm wondering how people have negotiated designating a Pact Weapon for the system to recognize? Or getting the system to acknowledge the additional proficiencies Hexblade provides?
Thanks for your help!

Copy that! Thank you.
