I am going tome and have the okay from my gm to get into dunamancy... will my warlock be okay getting into dunamancy or will it gimp him severally? Wanted to go for a theme with the archfey focusing on time and gravity spells reflavoring eldritch blast as a pulls of gravitational force.
So long as you cover your Warlock Bases, having a couple extra spells available is definitely not going to make the Warlock 'bad'. You probably don't want to just jam every dunamancy spell that you can, as a lot of older spells are obviously still very good, but so long as you don't go crazy you're fine.
Warlocks are pretty hard to gimp. There isn't much that you MUST have (if anything) from tome. As long as you don't pick awful invocations, your warlock should work fine. The pushes and pulls are generally considered among the best invocations you can take.
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
