I am pretty sure that would count as a Kensei Monk. Note the weapon has a big hilt, and the huge knob on the end? That's to counterweight the blade. He is clearly using Dexterity, not Charisma.

I think there's multiple possible interpretations of this.

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
This is perfect for my main character. Her name is Rei and she's what I call a 'Bladedancer'. Thanks for sharing, this will help me and my group visualize her fighting.
I imagine hexblade cha to hit as striking decisively at places where you just "feel" the enemy will move (and where they often do) as if led by a supernatural force, which would look really weird in real life :)

That's interesting and cool, though it sounds to me like Wisdom because it's about an intuitive perception predicting where the enemy is going to be.

The closest image I can think of would be the fights between Heroes in Fate Stay Night. For instance Lancer vs. Archer.
I love that series! Those are some great fights! What part of those fights would you say is Charisma based melee? Who in those fights is the Hexblade? Is it Archer because he summons weapons or is it Lancer because he fights with conviction and heart?

It's a supernatural ability, not unlike those of Artificers, Eldritch Knights and the sort. Your mystical powers (i.e., Charisma) give you an edge. Quite literally, in the Pact of Blade case.

That's one way of looking at it. The source of the ability is certainly supernatural, but I think it's just as valid to say that the actual wielding of the weapon is based on a natural ability and not form some sort of mystical telekinesis or something. It's telling that it's a replacement for Strength or Dexterity instead of an addition to, so I think it's somewhat akin to a monk being able to use Dexterity with non-finesse weapons.

Well, a Warlock compounds its own abilities with the knowledge bestowed by the Patron, according to the PHB. I guess it works the same for martial ability? Such raw power could enhance muscles, reflexes, coordination, speed and whatnot. I like this take, at least.
You could also argue that the bond to your Patron allows him to guide your attacks. This would make a Hexblade fighting look not unlike a Fighter or maybe a Monk if you wanted to. Maybe even like sage mode if you've watched or read Naruto.
There's a lot of ways to interpret CHA-based attacks, especially the background given.

Well... your probably right
Makes sense.
Thats more a mix of Dex, Performance AND CHA.
"Normality is but an Illusion, Whats normal to the Spider, is only madness for the Fly"
Kain de Frostberg- Dark Knight - (Vengeance Pal3/ Hexblade 9), Port Mourn
Kain de Draakberg-Dark Knight lvl8-Avergreen(DitA)
That’s only a fraction of his power

More like College of Swords Bard using the Performance skill if you ask me.
Another valid interpretation! What do you think a Hexblade using Charisma to fight looks like?

Both of them, really. Or rather, a combination of the two.
