So, I'm playing a tiefling Pact of the Tome Fiendlock who just hit 8th level. My ability scores are 8, 14, 14, 11, 10, 18 and I've got the Flames of Phlegethos feat, plus a magic item that makes Elemental Adept (Fire) redundant. I'm contemplating where to go at this point. I could max Cha, boost Dex or Con, or take a feat. My character's combat strategy basically revolves around hitting the target with fire spells at range until they go down, so I'm not in melee too much. I thought I'd get some opinions before I made any decisions.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

Eldritch Adept, and scoop another Invocation? If none seem like a nice benefit, maxing out CHA is never a bad idea.
I'd max cha, no question.

Max Charisma or Warcaster,
From Within Chaos Comes Order!
I agree with maxing out your charisma. And at 11th level I’d take a “half feat” to increase your intelligence to an even number.
