The SUN:
Unfathomably ancient, here long before any life and will outlive us by BILLIONS OF YEARS
Its light is so strong that prolonged exposure can burn or blind you from millions of miles away
worshiped as a god by various ancient religions and cults who made sacrifices to appease it
will eventually expand and burn out and dies, and will consume us in a desperate attempt to extend its lifespan
'screams' as a warning before emitting solar flares
The OCEAN:
an enormous, amorphous mass that is constantly heaving and tossing its bulk against the land where we build out homes. Gradually eating away (eroding) at it.
countless people, ships and even whole landmasses have vanished into its dark depths, never to be seen again.
so vast and dangerous that it is still mostly uncharted. We know more about other planets than some placed in our own ocean
full of teeth and tentacles and enormous storms and other unknown terrors that none have ever been able to return from to tell the tales.
can and will consume you without though or reason
worshiped as a god and often characterized by myths and legends as vengeful, merciless and demanding you respect it
a single strike from one of its superstorms can devastate a vast area of civilization
will eventually rise up and consume us all
The MOON:
made from the cataclysmic wound to our home planet.
preserves all the secrets Earth itself has forgotten
far away but ever present
half of it is always completely hidden from the Earth view
14 days of night on the moon
worshiped as a god by ancient cultures
controls the tides
the power of its brightness waxes and wanes throughout the month
when at full power it is able to force lycanthropes to reveal themselves
