Hi everyone, I am playing a Hexblade warlock with the Raven Queen as my patron. I am also a moon elf and we are doing the Strahd campaign. I am trying to pick a pact weapon, I was thinking of either a Scythe or a sword. What would you guys suggest. My main weapons right now are two Sickles.
It's up to you! Are you concerned primarily with doing the most amount of damage, or is RP/flavor as or more important to you?
If damage is your big focus, then going with a heavy, two-handed weapon is likely the way to go once you hit third level - greatsword, greataxe, maul, etc. Or go with a glaive, and take polearm master when you hit 4th level.
If RP/flavor is your focus, then choose the weapon you think best fits the personality of your character and how you want them to come across in the game. A scythe would certainly make a big impression!
