So I'm looking for ideas on what to conjure with this class feature. Some ideas I've had until now include:
- Conjuring a stool for your wizard to sit on during short breaks, so he can laugh at the plebians who has to sit on the ground.
- Whether you're cooking, mining, need a hook for climbing, or the rogue needs a lockpick, you always have the tools with you.
- Making a key that you've seen before.
- Free thrown weapons/ammo for your archer if you're not gonna use your action.
- Portable arrow cover that disappears after being hit once.
I also saw a post somewhere else about conjuring purple worm poison if they've seen it, but I doubt any DM is gonna allow that (conjuring potions would probably also get a no from the DM).
The best way would be for the Wizard to always have a luxury item whenever needed. If your character is somewhat evil, and willing to be a little mean to shopkeepers and others, it is also a great way to get some quick cash. "Why, just look at this sword. Can't you see that it is clearly magical? Look at that faint glow." "This ruby is flawless. Look at the way that it catches the light perfectly."
It can also be used to jam doors in dungeons (by creating a metal door brace, or floor spike, etc), creating a quick "trap" (We cut the ropes holding the bridge up and replace it with this conjured rope"), having an untraceable weapon, etc.
