One of the players in my party is a wizard, and the whole party hit level 3 today during our session. When we went to level up the wizard, we noticed that there were no options to give him on the class page. All other players had subclass options. The 2024 PHB shows that wizards also get a choice of subclass at level 3. Why would the site not show these options? The level 3 options literally just weren't there. Can anyone help?
Make sure that appropriate options are checked in the "Sources" section of the "Home" tab in the character builder — it is now possible to turn off all the options and leave yourself without any choices in some areas.
Are you certain that your player selected a 2024 Wizard and not a 2014 Wizard?

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
This is probably the correct answer since we started the campaign before I purchased the 2024 PHB, but all the other characters were able to subclass correctly according to the new phb
2014 Wizards selected their subclass at level 2, so if they're at level 3 they should already have it.
If you want them to use the 2024 versions of the classes, these are separate classes on D&D Beyond; they'd need to remove the 2014 class and select the 2024 one instead.
