Hi, y'all. New player, but I searched for this question and couldn't find an answer. So I just successfully scribed a spell to my spellbook from a scroll (respecting the rest, gold, Arcana check rules). So I go to add this on my D&D Beyond character sheet, but it won't let me because I'm already at my "cap" for Known Spells.
So does the character builder just not work with the Wizard ability to learn extra spells from scrolls? And I have to manually write this into my sheets?
Or is the Known Spells limit hard, and it was actually impossible for me to add the spell from a scroll?
I think there is a problem currently with adding spells through the "Manage Spells" section of the character sheet, but you can do that through the "manage levels" part then spells section.
Yeah, that's weird. I'm not have any issues adding spells to my wizard characters in the character sheet.
I mean, yeah, try doing it in the character editor. Try refreshing the page? Otherwise, get a mod involved.
A wizard should be able to "learn" (enter into their spellbook) all spells on the wizard spell list. There is no cap on spells learned, only on spells prepared.
