So a player of mine is asking me to use a class designed by a third party. I’ve done some extensive reading into it but wanted some more experienced player/DM’s thoughts on it. If he is playing a wizard with the ability to learn Druid and or warlock spells once a day if he finds a way to copy them. Are there any spells that should be off the table or may lead to something unforeseen in the hands of a wizard?
I would say that it is against the nature of wizards to have other spells. Healing spells, nature-y spells. Armour of agathys is a NO. Any other spells that buff/debuff that the wizard doesn't already have. Quite a lot.. the warlock will list should be ok, other than agathys, hadar spells.

Well, combine it with mage armour. Then they have enough hp and AC to basically be a fighter. Hadar is such a good cc, and it can be spammed. Warlocks it's fine because they only get 5 slots at max. Wizards get that at level 3 or so.

Ok that makes more sense now to me on why such a thing would be game changing. Is there anything else I should keep off the table? Especially from Druid? I’ve looked at Druid and nothing really sticks out as dangerous but as I’ve never played one I’m not familiar

Why specifically armor of Agathys and hadar? I’ve always seen them as a bit subpar without a specific build, on a wizard they seem less useful
They are thematically for Warlocks.
A fool pulls the leaves. A brute chops the trunk. A sage digs the roots.

Ah so nothing mechanically breaking
Eventually wizards can wish for any spell level 8 or lower. I doubt having more then one cast of those spells per long test is game breaking.

I would say that almost all of the summoning spells are off limits, as are many of the thematic ones (wizards aren't close to nature that much).
