Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a Monk)

These wraps were crafted through strenuous study and vengeful thoughts of retribution towards those that wronged the wearer and crafted through the disassembly and modification of other powerful magical items as well as dyed by draconic and abyssal blood.

While attuned to these wraps, you gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made through them.  While attuned to these wraps, you deal an additional 2d6 force damage when attacking with these wraps. 

Soul Catchers:  Your Con score is 20 while you wear these wraps.  This property of the gloves has no effect on you if your Constitution is already 20 or higher.  After making a successful unarmed strike while wearing these gloves, you can use the gloves to deal an extra 2d10 force damage to the target, and you regain a number of hit points equal to the force damage dealt. Alternatively, instead of regaining hit points in this way, you can choose to gain advantage on one attack roll, ability check, or saving throw you make before the end of your next turn.

Bloodthirsty Strikes: These wraps have 10 charges, and it regains all expended charges daily at dawn.

  • When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can expend a charge to deal an extra 4d6 necrotic damage to the target, and you regain a number of hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt.
  • When a creature you can see damages you, you can expend a charge and use your reaction to make a melee attack against that creature, with advantage on your attack roll.

   

Physicians Touch/Vipers Bite:  Your Ki Save increases by +3 when using your Monk abilities.  A number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, you may perform the spell Cure Wounds at a level equal to your proficiency modifier level when using your Hand of Healing ability.  If someone is down, this recovers the maximum amount of healing possible.  When performing your Hand of Harm ability you may perform the spell Inflict Wounds at your proficiency modifier level.  Once you have used these charges, you regain them on a short/long rest.

Draconic Elemental Manipulation:  A number of times equal to half your proficiency modifier, you may perform the spell Conjure Minor Elementals.

  • 2 Minor Beneficial Properties:  While attuned to this artifact, you gain +1 to your AC.  You gain proficiency with Survival.
  • 2 Major Beneficial Properties:  While attuned to this artifact, one of your ability scores (WIS) is increased by +2.  Once per long rest may perform the spell Simulacrum.
  • 2 Major Detrimental Properties:  When you first attune to this artifact, it gives you a quest as if under the spell Geas.  Once you complete the quest, you are no longer affected by this property.  When you become attuned to the artifact, there is a 10 percent chance that you attract the attention of a god that sends an avatar to wrest the artifact form you.  The avatar has the same alignment as its creator and statistics of an Empyrean.  Once it obtains the artifact, the avatar vanishes.
