This pair of golden earrings hold a black, obsidian-like gem with lightning-like rutilations of gold. They energize the wielder and amplify their feedback in combat to keep them in the fight during critical moments.
Building Pressure
When you hit a creature with a weapon attack or unarmed strike, the attack deals an extra 1d8 lightning damage.
Enter the Flow
While you are attuned to these earrings, your attack rolls with weapons and unarmed strikes have their critical hit range increased by one. In addition, when you score a critical hit with a weapon attack, the attack deals an extra 2d10 lightning damage.
Void Spark
When you score a critical hit, you can choose to forgo the extra lightning damage from the Enter the Flow property. If you do, you store that energy instead. You can store up to five charges of this energy. When you next score a critical hit, you can choose to expend any number of stored charges, dealing 2d12 lightning damage per charge expended in addition to the attack's normal damage.
This lightning damage does not trigger the Feedback Loop property.
All Void Spark charges are lost when initiative ends. If you roll initiative while you already have Void Spark charges, those charges are lost immediately.
Feedback Loop
Once per turn, when you roll a natural 20 with a weapon attack or unarmed strike, you can regain Hit Points equal to the total damage dealt by that attack. You can use this property a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (to a minimum of 0). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
