Weapon (longbow), uncommon (requires attunement)

A longbow crafted by the Ashen Veil, its pale wood polished smooth and reinforced with thin inlays of silver sap that run like veins along its limbs. The draw is heavy and deliberate, forcing the wielder to slow their breath and steady their heart before each shot.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

When you take the Attack action to make an attack with this bow, you can choose to make only one attack, even if you could normally make more. If you do, that attack deals 1d12 damage instead of 1d8. The weapon otherwise functions as a normal longbow.

You can choose to attune to this weapon. While attuned, you gain the following benefit:
The bow deals an additional 1d4 damage of a type of your choice: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, or thunder. You choose the damage type when you finish a long rest, and you can change it whenever you finish another long rest.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Acid, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
