Weapon (sniper rifle), very rare (requires attunement)

Crafted by the Ashen Veil, this rifle seems almost alive beneath the fingers, its pale wood warm and impossibly smooth. The silver sap veins gleam like flowing light, subtly shifting as the wielder adjusts their stance. Each shot feels preordained, guided not just by sight but by intent, and the echo it leaves behind lingers longer than sound alone should allow.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Your normal and long range with this weapon are tripled (to 300/1200), and while wielding it, you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks.

When you take the Attack action to make an attack with this sniper rifle, you can choose to steady yourself. Your next attack has its critical hit range increased by 1. You can use this feature only if you haven't moved during this turn, and after you use it, your Speed is 0 until the end of the current turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

You can choose to attune to this weapon. While attuned, you gain the following benefit:
The rifle deals an additional 2d6 damage of a type of your choice: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, or thunder. You choose the damage type when you finish a long rest, and you can change it whenever you finish another long rest.

When you score a critical hit with this weapon, elemental force tears through the target’s defenses. Fractures of power linger, reducing the creature’s Armor Class by 1d4 + 1 until the end of your next turn.

An instrument of ranged precision, the Sniper Rifle can take shots from distant, nearly invisible ranges.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sighted. Attacking at long range with this weapon doesn’t impose Disadvantage on your attack rolls. When you hit a creature with an attack using this weapon at long range, you can reroll any of the damage dice and must use the new roll.
