These are spiked plain white arm wraps that are occasionally The Fury gifts her faithful. When they are put on for the first time the spikes drive into the wearer’s arms causing the wraps to become studded and to turn crimson. As the one wearing the wraps gets more powerful spikes sink deeper into the wearers arms and their color becomes deeper until they are fully empower and become black.
The wearer takes 2d10 piercing damage the first time they put them on.
Tier 1 Crimson Bands (Recommended Level 2-5)
+1 AC and +1 to unarmed strikes (does not make attacks magical)
On critical hit add one martial art die (does get doubled from the critical hit)
On a critical fail take 1d10 piercing damage, this damage cannot be reduced by any means.
Tier 2 Deep Purple Bands (Recommended Level 7-9)
+2 AC and +2 to unarmed strikes
Increased Critical Hit range (19-20) for unarmed strikes.
During an Attack action or Flurry of Blows, one unarmed strike can be replaced by a first level Inflict Wounds or first level Cure Wounds. Each usable once per long rest.
Critical fail damage increases to 2d10 piercing.
Tier 3 Black Bands (Recommended Level 12-15)
+3 AC and +3 to Unarmed Strikes
On critical hit additional martial arts die increased to 2 (does get doubled from the critical hit)
Inflict Wounds and Cure Wounds increased to 3rd level. Each is usable once per long rest.
Critical fail Damage increases to 3d10 piercing.
