Weapon (trident), uncommon

This magical trident is imbued with elemental magic from the sea.

While wielding this trident you may call on a limited amount of the Sea's power to cast spells. The trident has seven charges, which can be used to cast Wall of water (1 charge), Waterwalk (2 charges), Waterbreathing (3 charges) and Tidal Wave (4 charges). The trident regains all expended charges on a long rest. The trident also regains one expended charge for every 10 minutes it spend completely submerged in the ocean.

In addition, once per turn when you hit with an attack, you may add 2d4 cold damage to the attack.

Proficiency with a Trident allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
