Weapon (longbow), uncommon (requires attunement)

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

The Bow of Piercing is a special weapon used by elite Elven Archers.  It has the ability to shoot out a long beam of energy that can penetrate creatures and cover.  When you attack with the bow, you can expend 1 charge to make a piercing attack.  When making a piercing attack, you don't roll to hit.  Instead, a beam of magical force shoots out in a line 150 ft. long and 3 ft. wide.  Any creatures within the line must make a Dexterity Saving Throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity Modifier + your Intelligence Modifier), or take the weapon's normal damage, plus (2d8) force damage.

The line goes through walls and other obstacles.  Creatures do not benefit from cover when making the saving throw.

The bow has 20 charges and regains (1d12 + 8) charges at dawn.  If you expend the last charge, roll a d20.  On a 1, the bow retains its +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls but loses all other properties.  On a 20, the bow regains (1d6 + 2) charges.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
