The weapon is Red and Green and covered it in a snake motif with one red snake and one green snake intertwining, in the shape of a hand crossbow.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Stheno's Revenge deals radiant damage and has the exploding property (if a 6 is rolled for the weapon damage, continue rolling additional d6 for damage until a 6 isn't rolled). Stheno's Revenge does not use ammunition, instead Stheno's Revenge expends charges when making attacks. If found it has zero charges unless someone had previously charged it. To recharge Stheno's Revenge, use an action and spend a hit die and it gains a number of charges equal to the size of the hit die plus the user's constitution modifier.
To attune Stheno's Revenge, expend 1 hit die, this hit die is not regained as long as Stheno's Revenge is attuned.
Once attuned, the user adds their proficiency modifier to the damage rolls. The user may spend one hit die to maximize the damage dealt from an attack, instead of rolling damage all dice are treated as a maximum roll, this does not trigger the exploding property.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
