While wearing this necklace, you can breathe normally in any environment, and you have Advantage on saving throws made to avoid or end the Poisoned condition.
Uncommon item, so in my games that would be 100 to 500 GP. Rare is 500 to 1,000 GP. Very Rare items are 1,000 to 5,000 GP. And a Legendary item is usually considered priceless or something ridiculous like 50,000 GP. And personally, I don't think this is a niche item. Breathing underwater can be very useful, regardless of the campaign. And resisting gases can be equally useful, especially if your DM likes using traps and area of affect spells.
If I read it correctly, "you can breathe normally in any environment, " I think you're fine under lava with breathing. However, I think that it doesn't protect you from the damage that follows with lava. You can breathe under lava now, but not be resistant to any damages that follow with it 'cause you under lava, you'll be engulfed in lava.
Okay, so DM gave us this item and no one in our party wants it. It has a very niche use, and I’d rather save my attunememt slots for something a little more practical. So how much would you be able to sell it for?
Whatever the dm says an npc would buy it for

Posted Mar 23, 2024How does a necklace assist someone with breathing? Does it make an air bubble around your head?
