Passive effect
Shadow's regret: You can see auras of people who have regret in their souls.
- You have 20 of Perception when wearing it while having dark vision as well.
- Your aura is invisible to everyone (As your invisible to everyone but it only works to those who don't know you).
Summon
Regret's familiar - This creature is the embodiment of regret and will to be commanded by you will, but you must feed it with your own regret to let it listen to you.
- Your familiar acts independently of you, but it always obeys your commands. In combat, it rolls its own initiative and acts on its own turn. A familiar can't attack, but it can take other actions as normal.
- When the familiar drops to 0 hit points, it disappears, leaving behind no physical form. It reappears after you cast this spell again. As an action, you can temporarily dismiss the familiar to a pocket dimension.
- Whenever the familiar drops to 0 hit points or disappears into the pocket dimension, it leaves behind in its space anything it was wearing or carrying.
- While you're familiar is within 100 feet of you, you can communicate with it telepathically. Additionally, as an action, you can see through your familiar's eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn, gaining the benefits of any special senses that the familiar has. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own senses.
- You can't have more than one familiar at a time.
Stats
Shapechanger. Regret can use its action to polymorph into an object or back into its true, amorphous form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Adhesive (Object Form Only). Regret adheres to anything that touches it. A Huge or smaller creature adhered to regret is also grappled by it (escape DC 13). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage.
False Appearance (Object Form Only). While Regret remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary object.
Grappler. Regret has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.
Action
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 11). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and regret can't bite another target.
