The fabric is these wrappings are made from the shells of a very rare beetle by grand master monks to be worn on the arms and legs. These wrapping not only conduct a monks natural ki but enhances it. In the hands of a monk with less control over there ki could lead to great injury of the monk and severely damage there ki but in the hands of a master these simple wrappings become a powerful tool, the wrappings can be as soft as silk or as hard as adamantine.
You gain these benefits while wearing the Wrappings:
• You gain a +3 bonus to your unarmed attack and damage rolls
• Your unarmed attacks deal a additional 1d6 damage 
• You gain a +2 bonus to your armor class
• Increase your Ki save DC by 3

Furthermore while wearing the wrappings you can store additional Ki inside them that can be used for any class features that require the monk to spend ki, during a long rest you can store up to half your ki inside the wrappings up to a maximum of 20, the Ki stays inside the wrappings for up to 10 days.
